Do I need to become a member in www.pmi.org?

It is recommended to become PMI member at least first year to avail following benefits.
1. Discount for the Exam Fee.
2. Access to online Exam and Study materials.
3. Monthly PM Network Magazine.
4. Easier online submission of PDUs during Continuous certification Requirements (CCR) cycle.

    I have just joined as a PMI Member for a month. Just to check if the discount will be given for the exams fee and access to online exams / study materials is allowable.

    As a PMI member you can pay US $ 405 instead of US $ 555 for PMP exam fee. For full details refer http://www.pmi.org/CareerDevelopment/Pages/Examination-and-Renewal-Fees.aspx.
